System Integration with Strategy
When faced with a new project, decision-makers often “can’t see the wood for the trees”. The tasks seem too big, the changes too innovative, the “change management” too unfamiliar for employees.
Will the project be worth the effort? How much more efficient will the processes be afterwards? How well will they be integrated into the existing system landscape? And above all, what ROI can be expected?
Safe decision with a good feeling
To make your decision easier, we have developed the RF KonSys strategy. This structured approach takes all project participants through six phases – from stakeholders to warehouse employees. At the same time, in accordance with the lean methodology, we start where the greatest possible effects will be achieved very quickly in your company through the use of RFID.
As Much Standard as Possible – As Much Individuality as Necessary
The steps are clearly defined in each phase. Even if you benefit from the use of our standard modules established on the market, we take a very individual approach to your processes and systems during integration. Our project management is agile so that we can accommodate and implement all your wishes . We divide large projects into sub-projects. Once a sub-project is complete, we immediately present the improved process to the relevant employees so that they can immediately experience the new benefits in their day-to-day work. If this results in changes, these are incorporated into the next round of development.
The Six Project Phases
With our transparent project approach, you always know where we stand. Regular project communication with your teams ensures that we work together and not side by side.
The 6 phases of the RF KonSYS strategy consist of the requirement, design, build, test, rollout and support phases.
01 Requirement phase
- Recording pain points and target status
- Analysis and workshops Current status
- Processes
- Organization
- Technologies
- Environmental conditions
- Elaboration of the requirements and requirements matrix
02 Design phase
- Developing partial solutions and checking feasibility
- Proof of concept
- RFID simulation
- Merging into an overall process solution (target process)
- Transfer of the target process into an individual RF KonSys solution
- Development of an integration plan
03 Build phase
- Agile development of the RF KonSys solution
- Development of test strategy and documentation
- Integration with existing systems
04 Test phase
- Development of test scenario
- Training of the test personnel
- Integration test
- System tests with end users
- Agile bug fixing
- Final test and documentation
05 Rollout phase
- Support with the preparation
- Employee training
- Review before going live
- Support and hyper care during the rollout
- Agile bug fixing and monitored updates according to plan
06 Support phase
- SW support, care and maintenance
- HW support and replacement
- Agile change management for adjustments and improvements

RF KonSys Modules Scale with Your Business
The nine modules are designed so that they can be used as a stand-alone solution or in combination with other modules.
If you have already tagged your goods or assets with RFID for one process, then it makes sense to digitize upstream and downstream processes as well in order to further increase their efficiency: for fewer errors, reduced costs, 100% inventory accuracy and control over your processes.
We could not imagine how such a Track & Trace project could be carried out during ongoing operations. The specialists from the RFID Konsortium guided us through the project in a very structured way and repeatedly presented partial results that we were able to test immediately in day-to-day operations.
That helped us a lot.

Real-time data for quick decisions
If all departments have the same transparent view of a real-time article inventory, employees can make very precise decisions: The order acceptance department plans items for an order.
Sales can make precise statements to customers about the availability of goods.
Purchasing can rely on the current stock level and reorder in good time.
At the same time, everyone receives important information about the condition of the items.
RFID tags store the status of an item via its serial number.
This serialization allows the status of the item to be recorded, e.g. whether it is “dirty”, “damaged”, “cleaned”, currently “under repair” or “undergoing maintenance”.
Such status information is of course also possible for load carriers, tools or industrial trucks in production and logistics.
Find suitable RFID transponders
Attaching a transponder (RFID tag) to particularly challenging items is our specialty – e.g. to a napkin. With many different items, there is usually also a variety of surfaces, which in turn requires a variety of different RFID tags. We adhere to your specifications: “not visible” and “washable if possible” – if necessary, we can do this too. Sometimes the combination of different Auto-ID technologies brings the highest profitability for our customers. We check this in advance and suggest the optimum concept for you.
The industry dimension in the project
We do not offer a one-size-fits-all solution. From over 100 projects since 2008, we know that the industry-specific characteristics of a company are reflected in its very own processes.
