RFID read points, where it is critical

In order to organize production cycles, you need to know where your raw materials, semi-finished products or goods are at all times. RFID reading points record the movements of materials within intralogistics in order to track which parts are moving where, when and in what quantity.
You can set up such reading points at “critical” transfer points with a simple RFID reader and track your material flow.

Advantages of RFID read points

  • Scalable
  • Track & Trace parts, goods, tools
  • Integration into your systems
  • Manageable investment

Fields of application Reading points

RFID read points are typically positioned where parts, goods or tools leave one area (e.g. warehouse) and pass into another area (e.g. production hall). These can be entrances to laboratories, laundries or protected personnel areas, for example.

The simple reading point can also be used directly on machines to record tool or material deliveries. It can also be used optimally in production lines, on conveyor lines, e.g. assembly lines or overhead transport systems (textile logistics).

Reading points can be used in a wide variety of applications. For example, the detection of electroplating or powder coating racks in which parts to be coated are suspended.
