RFID gate uses AI for high performance at the loading gate
If staging and loading zones are packed full of pallets, containers and boxes and the shipping goods are placed as close as possible to the designated loading gate, then this can become critical.
This is because goods that are “just parked” at the RFID gate, in front of it, behind it or even in the gate – because there is no more space elsewhere – must not be accidentally (also) recorded. This would lead to incorrect bookings. Goods being processed in the neighboring gate should also not be read under any circumstances.
We solve this challenge with artificial intelligence. In our RF KonSys AI Gate.

Advantages of an AI Gate
- High performance: 100 tags in the field are captured in 1-2 seconds
- Selective reading: Only captures articles that pass through the gate
- No stray readings (unwanted readings)
- No time-consuming prior calibration of the items
- Unknown, new items are recorded securely
- Practical application for “fully parked” shipping zones
Fields of application for the AI Gate
Ideal for companies that have a large number of loading gates, a high volume of items in (sometimes cramped) staging and loading zones, as well as many mixed pallets.

- Rapidly scalable technology
- RFID ready – easier with AI
- Upgrade existing RFID gates to AI functionality

“The use of AI is particularly exciting in warehouses, where many errors still occur today – for example in intralogistics transport or in incoming and outgoing goods. Many companies rely on RFID technology at critical points to track materials. However, logisticians are struggling with scattered readings. An AI-supported RFID gate is a real revolution in terms of error prevention.“
