Auto-ID Hardware: RFID Labels & Transponders, RFID Antennas & Printers
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology uses radio waves to identify and track objects.
For radio-based data transmission between the object and a receiver, the objects to be tracked (e.g. goods or raw materials) must be equipped with an RFID transponder. These can be tiny tags equipped with an antenna and a microchip – as used in the textile industry, for example. Modern RFID tags (transponders) can even store status data , such as temperature status. They are used in logistics, production and transportation. In the context of logistics and Production 4.0. developments, RFID forms the basis for Internet-of-Things (IIoT) communication between objects, alongside sensor technology . The future lies in additional analyses, the findings of which are used as an important basis for decision-making.
Our Hardware
Sometimes customer situations are so individual that the standard products available on the market are not suitable. For these cases, we have designed, developed and implemented our own hardware scenarios on site in numerous projects. These include the RF KonSys Gate, a gate solution for the automated recording of all articles as they pass through. As an all-in-one installation, we offer our customers the RF KonSys Smartmove, a ready-made reader installation for mounting on reading points or forklifts. It combines reader, logic and GPIO (programmable inputs and outputs) as well as a plug-and-play software connection for set-up and perfect integration into the RF KonSys modular system.
RF KonSys Gate
RFID gates offer complete recording at item level for incoming and outgoing goods. Errors are ruled out.

The RFID kick-start kit. Set your own reading points, including RFID antenna, sensors, interfaces and communication.
Hardware Partners: The Overview
In your project, you can choose from a wide range of RFID handheld scanners, stationary readers, transponders, labels or printers from our partners. We will help you make the right decision. And offer you the right support.
MDEs & Tablets
RFID handheld scanners and tablets offer maximum flexibility for your workers or order pickers.
Stationary readers
If goods always pass the same stations, permanently installed readers are recommended
Printer
Print barcode or RFID labels “on demand”, e.g. to book in and store returns.
RFID transponder
RFID transponders are available in different sizes and functionalities depending on their use. In retail, they also have an anti-theft function.
