Being professional on a technical level is one thing, but being professional on a human level is another. Our guidelines reflect what is important to us.

Tino Steickert, Managing Director RFID Konsortium

Our Values

Principles
We are fair and honest. Trust, respect and appreciation are important to us. We are reliable and believe that “impossible is possible”. We want to remain open to criticism and capable of learning. Our everyday life is characterized by diversity: of our employees, our customers, our projects and our partners.

Human Rights
We take a clear stance against racism, discrimination, harassment, bullying, child labor and exploitation.

Data Protection
The protection of confidential information is essential. We protect the sensitive data of our customers and employees. We handle the use of artificial intelligence  in our products with care. We only use AI training data in anonymized form.

IT Security
We protect our own IT infrastructure just as responsibly as RFID and radio-based infrastructures and software solutions that we implement for our customers. In doing so, we rely on the current recommendations of the BSI. We take the greatest possible precautions against potential operational sabotage or cyber attacks.

Our Employees

Team Spirit
We grow together and each individual surpasses themselves. An open, appreciative working environment offers employees the opportunity to contribute their own ideas, to develop and grow. In our business, we often have to “think outside the box”. Our specialists from six nations provide different perspectives and ways of thinking. We are proud to be flexible, open-minded and future-oriented.

Corporate Culture
We strive for a constructive, fair, friendly, developing and respectful corporate culture. We are happy to solve problems together. We lead in order to promote independent work. This includes firsts, listening and fault tolerance.

Work-Life Balance
Children are our future. Personally, but also for the generational change in Germany. Family, raising children and work are one and the same for us. This includes home office, reintegration after illness and active health promotion, e.g. through the MySports program. We look after each other.

Our Customers

Working for and with Customers
Our day-to-day work revolves around the customer. We meet different people at the customer’s premises. From warehouse staff to the CEO, we take everyone’s concerns, wishes and goals seriously. We always strive for open communication.

Tenders
We are very sensitive when dealing with tenders and the specifications of the purchasing departments. We always adhere to the compliance regulations for suppliers.

Confidential Handling of Information
We treat customer-sensitive information confidentially and do not pass it on. Compliance with the GDPR, secure on-premise data storage and European hosting are just as important to us as sensitizing our employees to the handling of customer data.

Dealing with other Partners
Our conduct in projects is fair and professional with all parties involved. Partners who bring us into a project are always informed about all customer inquiries. We work together, not against each other.

Occupational Health and Safety
We comply with the regulations on occupational safety in our customers’ warehouses and production halls and protect our employees on site accordingly.

Reference Customers
We only use customer names, logos and citations by name on our website with written permission. We publish anonymized project descriptions on our website without mentioning client names.

Our Suppliers

Hardware & Software Partners
We carefully select hardware and software products from our partners according to the requirements of the customer project. With our “one-face-to-the-customer” approach, we are responsible for the communication and quality assurance of third-party products in the project.

Benefits
We do not bribe and do not accept bribes. We do not accept invitations, gifts or benefits from our suppliers.

Supply Chain Act
We provide our customers with the information required under the Supply Chain Act.

Our Responsibility

Environmental Protection
We use reusable transponders, ideally over their entire life cycle. We promote repairs in Germany and thus actively reduce logistical routes. We even give older hardware that is already in use at the customer a chance in projects in accordance with the principle of “reusability”. We also buy older hardware for this purpose. After the project launch at the customer’s site, we dispose waste properly and leave the site tidy. Wherever possible, we strive  for a paperless office.

Sustainability
We are proud of the fact that the use of our RF KonSys modules saves CO2 emissions: Fewer shipping errors mean fewer subsequent deliveries on the road. Route optimization saves truck journeys. Rewritable RFID tags promote reusability. Transparent stock information of load carriers in use also reduces the amount of plastic containers.
